In ORCOD, a scheme is a file in which all the information that the user enters, calculates and simulates is stored.

While this information is being added, the user must save it periodically. This way, it can be retrieved in the future to continue working with it, consult it or exploit it.

• Click on the ORCOD button on the top left side of the screen and select Create new scheme.

• Enter all the fields that you wish in order to describe the content that will be stored in the scheme and click on Create.

Click on the ORCOD button on the top left side of the screen and select Open scheme. In the dialog box that will appear, browse the scheme that you wish to open.

Click on the ORCOD button on the top left side of the screen and select Save or Save as.

From a classical point of view, an ORCOD scheme can be regarded as an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), with some advanced features, such as:

• Schemes make it possible to store the same information as classical notebooks, but in a digital, secure and transferrable way.
• Contents can be added, edited and customized as many times as needed.
• Schemes make it possible to effectively establish a standardized way of storing the information, always following the same criteria and the same organization guidelines. Thanks to this, the work acquires a high systematization degree.

• Reports can be generated to easily share the information.
